COVID-19 Safety Protocol
We are open in-office visits and limited virtual visits. If you have a fever over 100.4 F, and a new cough or shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, or other COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to your scheduled appointment. Please call our office to reschedule.
For in-office visits, we require all patients wear a facemask. You must provide your own facemask that covers your nose and mouth at all times, we can provide one if needed. Face shields alone will not be permitted. We are limiting the number of people in the office to allow for distancing in the waiting room and exam rooms. Therefore, we will only allow the patient and 1 guest in the office (unless a minor or patient requiring assistance.) We will also screen for fever and conduct a survey of COVID-19 questions upon arrival.
In order to keep you safe, we are disinfecting the offices multiple times a day, all exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each patient, and we are spreading appointments throughout the day to avoid overcrowding in the waiting room. We are also requiring staff to wear PPE to protect them and you during this time, and conducting temperature screenings of our staff daily.
Our offices are following the Texas Medical Board COVID-19 Minimum Standards of Safe Practice guidelines as well as CDC guidelines and recommendations.
We are updating procedures and requirements as information is released, so procedures and policies are subject to change.
